The project concept was based on addressing wasteful energy consumption in a work-environment. An application was perceived to induce behavior change to promote efficient energy use. A research of products that have led to green behavior was carried out and the finding was that visualization of energy performance could lead to positive change. Hence a platform for visualizing energy performance in a work-space was designed. The model allowed the user to select the real-time data input from building management system, visualization semantics and location of display (personal or public devices or systems).
